During my two-night stay as a couple, the highlight was the incredible hospitality from Tracey and Ted, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. They not only provided us with great hiking tips but also served fresh, made-to-order breakfasts each morning that were delicious and accommodating to our vegetarian diet. Our King Room with Mountain View was thoughtfully designed, offering serene views that made waking up a pleasure. We also appreciated their kindness in driving us partway to the start of our hike, making our adventures all the more accessible.

Staying at Trien Lodge was amazing. The Deluxe King Room had stunning views of the mountains and the loch. The room was spacious with a super comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. Breakfast was top-notch, with gluten-free options that were freshly prepared. The hosts, Tracey and Ted, really went out of their way to make my stay special. They provided excellent hiking tips and even offered to drive me to the trailhead. A lovely touch was the complimentary tea and coffee in the room, complete with free organic tea and fluffy towels. I felt pampered in every way. One small issue was the limited shelf space in the bathroom, which made organizing my toiletries a bit challenging. But that didn’t overshadow the fantastic experience overall.

great host but small room
The host went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, which was greatly appreciated. The breathtaking view of the loch from the garden was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. My breakfast was delicious, freshly made, and offered a nice variety. The detailed hiking tips provided made my adventures even better.
However, the room felt smaller than expected for a deluxe twin room.
